Let's not forget them in our duas

The University of Malaya is organising a talk on "A moment with Palestine" by Associate Professor Dr. Hafidzi Mohd Noor, followed by iftar tomorrow at the madrasah of Academy of Islamic Studies. Alhamdulillah.

In time when we are thinking about what to choose for iftar from massive variety of food available, let us not forget how our brothers and sisters are suffering from hunger and pain and trying to survive in Palestine not only during Ramadhan but at every moment in their lives. Let's make dua for them that Allah protect them from harm and evil and give them strength to continue fighting for their rights. Ameen.

My heart will always be with them.

Rachel Corrie - In Memoriam

On March 30, 2010,  a vessel weighing 1800-tan was bought through an auction in Dundalk, Ireland, at the price of 70,000 British pound sterling by the Free Gaza Movement. After some works done to restore the condition and equipped for long journey, she was ready for her trip to Gaza, Palestine. In June 2010, she sailed to Gaza despite the inhuman and bloody attack by the Zionists on the lead vessel, Mavi Marmara weeks before that. The vessel was forced to turn around by the animal Zionists, after they ransacked the ship and seized valuable goods meant as aids for the Palestinians. It never reached Gaza.

They named her 'Rachel Corrie'

Who is 'Rachel Corrie'?

Rachel Aliene Corrie (April 1979 - March 16, 2003) was an American citizen and a member of International Solidarity Movement (ISM). She was brutally murdered by the Israeli regime in one of her attempt to prevent the Zionist bulldozer from demolishing Samir Nasrallah's house in the Province of Gaza. The Jews, who are known best in the world for their inhuman behaviour, denied the report saying that she died of accident, but there was evidence that she was run over by the bulldozer not once but twice and the witnesses of the murder have managed to prove that she was killed intentionally.

Prior to that, Corrie took a one year leave from her study at the Evergreen State College to join other activists of the 2nd Intifada' to Palestine. On the unfortunate day, she stood firm as human shield when the bulldozer ran over her.

Corrie died due severe injury of crushed chest, ribs, dorsal spinal column and scapula. She also bled massively at her right lung.

These pictures here showed the details of her murder. Undeniably true. But some people in some part of the world couldn't see the truth. Why? Because such ill fated scene did not occur to any of their family members, so they don't care?

Obviously the Israelis did not care to look at the skin colour or background details or which country she came from when they killed her. And when Corrie was sent home all covered up with the US flag, the brilliant president of the US still support and protect (perhaps lick also???) the Zionists' ass.

What has she done to deserve this? What can the family and relatives and friends do for her? Put up her enlarged pictures for everyone to view and light up thousands of candles every day will not bring her back or do her justice.

In Islam, Al Qur'an has, from the beginning, reminded us that the world that we live in is known as paradise for the sinners. As for those who do good deeds, the world is a place where they will be repeatedly tested. Hardships, tortures, poverty, illness are some of the many tests, to name a few. For those who are tested and they endure with it patiently, continue to repent and seek help only from Allah and say Alhamdulillah with no regret at all the time, then a beautiful Jannah (paradise) awaits them in the hereafter. They will live in it happily forever.

Dear beautiful Rachel,

I pray that Allah wholely forgive you and save your soul from the burning hell fire. May He look at you with love and tenderness. May He place you together with other Muslimins and Muslimahs who are blessed.

You were my hero. And always is. I hope I have the same courage as yours to fight for justice and peace in this world.

May your soul rest in peace. Amin.

Why the Jews were cursed

One of Rasul Allah's wife, Umm Al-Mumineen Safiyyah bint Huyayy  (radi'Allahu anha) was the daughter of one of the Jewish leaders of Madinah. When she had first felt the rays of Islam enter her blessed heart, she accepted Islam, and then related to the Prophet - sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam what she encountered....

It was the day that Anas (radi Allahu anhu) describes as the most radiant day to every come upon al-Madinah, i.e. the day Rasul Allah salAllahu alayhi wa sallam entered it. All the Ansar men, women and children gathered to greet him, cheers of praise to Allah filled the air. Amongst the gathering were 2 men; as much as the Ansar and Muhaajireen revered the Prophet, they despised him. It was the father of Safiyyah (radi Allahu anha) and her uncle. She was only a youngster as she looked into the darkness and gloom that had enveloped their faces when they returned home that day.

Her Jewish uncle asked, "Is it him? Is it the Prophet that our scriptures speak of?"

Huyayy lowered his head and said, "Yes. It is him."

"Then what shall we do?" Safiyyah's uncle continued.

Huyayy looked into his eyes and said, "Till the final day we shall be his bitterest enemies!"

From the very first rakaah of Taraweeh we read the verse in the opening Surah (Al-Fatihah):

"Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked (Your) anger!.."

Adiyy ibn Hatim asked Rasul Allah salAllahu alayhi wa sallam,

"who it was that evoked Allah's anger?"

Muhammad said, "It was the Jews"
(Tafseer Ibn Katheer)

The Jews were cursed because
1)  They followed only what they wanted to
2)  They changed the words of Allah
3)  They claimed that they are the beloved children of God
4)  They made blaphemous statements
5)  They murdered the prophets sent to them

Allah commands us in the Quran:

"O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is one of them. Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people." - Maaidah 5/51

Fuck the bloody murderer Israelis!

Israelis are animals

So much of these indescribable pain caused, so many lives taken cruelly, so great a sin committed

Have they lost their mind?

The United Nations Security Council today condemned Israel's bloody commando raid on the Gaza flotilla  which left up to 19 dead and another 30 injured as Israel's special forces marines arriving from boats and helicopters stormed the flotilla of six aid ships and fought with activists.

As bullets flew across the decks and soldiers were beaten with iron bars, the carnage was beamed around the world on television, sparking protests around the globe.

I CONDEMN ISRAEL'S BLOODY COMMANDO RAID ON THE GAZA FLOTILLA.
MAY THE ISRAELIS BURN IN HELL FIRE FOREVER.

When activists set sail for the Gaza Strip on their latest aid operation, their mission was in part designed to draw international attention to the plight of Palestinians living in the area.

The Free Gaza Movement - along with human rights activists and pro-Palestinian groups - has been attempting to land supplies in the region since 2008 to counter the 'increasing stranglehold' of Israel's 'illegal occupation'.

This latest attempt to bring resources to 1.5million people living there was designed to highlight the 'prison-like closure" of the Gaza Strip'.

Tens of thousands marched through Istanbul and attempted to storm the Israeli consulate, chanting:

'Murderous Israel, you will drown in the blood you shed.'

List of Malaysian delegates who were on board Mavi Marmara, the flotilla's lead vessel to GAZA :

1) Noorazman Bin Mohd Samsuddin (Mission Leader)

2) Dr. Mohd Arba'ai Bin Shawal

3) Dr. S. Muhamad Haleem Bin S. Hassan

4) Dr. Selamat Bin Aliman

5) Jamuliddin Bin Elias (Yayasan Amal Malaysia)

6) Al Hami Husain Bin Suhaimi

7) Mohd Nizam Bin Mohamad (media representative)

8) Abd Halim bin Mohamed Redzuan (media representative)

I am unsure of their wellbeings. Semoga Allah melindungi dan menyelamatkan mereka dari kekejaman ISRAEL LAKNATULLAH.

My people, my country, my question.....

I love to take pictures with my Nokia N70. It comes in handy whenever I need it. It's considered a piece of obsolete technology, now that Blackberry, LG Chocolate, Samsung and many other whatchamacallit brands conquered the market overnight. But I am happy with it.

Last Friday when my husband and I went to Kuala Lumpur to shop for necessities for the close coming umrah, we stopped by at Masjid India so that my husband could perform his Friday prayer. While waiting at one of the seats outside the mosque, I took the opportunity to take some pictures of what's going on around the place using my handphone.

This was taken half an hour before the Friday congregational prayer started. This old man has been statued like that in the middle of the hot sun for almost 45 minutes, in the state of a deep trance. I have been watching him for quite sometime and could not stop wondering what the old man was thinking when he stared blankly at the prayer mat. Was he not happy, tired, demotivated or feeling empty-hearted?

This was an old woman who sat just right next to me during the Friday congregational prayer. I thought she, just the same like me, was waiting for her husband before continue with their errands, but no, that's not the case. To my surprise, at one point of time she suddenly leaped forward to a man who was carrying big bags in both hands - FREE FOOD for sadaqah. These food were packed in small containers and distributed to poor people around the mosque by wealthy people who want to make good deeds on Friday. Masya-Allah, what a scene! I was so startled that I didn't even think of taking the picture to show how poor people, many of them who suddenly appeared from almost every corner of the mosque, 'attacked' the bags to get the food.

This was an old mother who belongs to nobody, taking a nap at the second floor of the mosque, after Friday prayer, perhaps tired after waiting and struggling for free food downstairs just now. Who wants to claim she is their mother? Who wants to take her home and give her proper food, clothing and shelter? I pray God protect her and have mercy on her.

Back at home, this was a couple of youngsters who sell raisins in boxes to commuters of a shopping complex. Should not they be in school at this hour? What motivate them to sell to the public? Money? Do they need money?

I could snap thousands and thousands of pictures of people living their lives in a poor state. But I can't load them all into this blog and I know damn well I don't have to do so because you (reader) also experience such scene everywhere you go, right? Once you've seen those pictures above that reflect the lifestyle of average Malaysians today, I'd like to ask you this question,

WTF is Permata Seni Muzik and Permata Seni Koir for?

Do we look like we need music and become a choir member to make sure food is fed into our mouth everyday to continue living? Can music guarantee we survive globalisation? Do other ISLAMIC countries have such fund to produce people who can sing well and play music, just like Malaysia? WTF, man?

There was something cold and sinister about the reply I received so far...

"lu pikir la sendiri"

I curse that 'Red Queen' from The Wonderland with big head and wide forehead who stares at young men with her ghostly eyes who always think of how to wallop more public money in her fat belly before her term ends...!!!

I curse this stupid bunch of zombie followers for putting blind eyes on this and kept telling the citizen "everything is in control"

The White House stumbles to the finish: The humiliation of America

**By PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS

(Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration)

"Early Friday morning the secretary of state was considering bringing the cease-fire resolution to a UNSC vote and we didn't want her to vote for it," Olmert said. "I said 'get President Bush on the phone.'

They tried and told me he was in the middle of a lecture in Philadelphia.

I said 'I'm not interested, I need to speak to him now.'

He got down from the podium, went out and took the phone call.

"*"Let me see if I understand this," wrote a friend in response to news reports that Israeli Prime Minister Olmert ordered President Bush from the podium where he was giving a speech to receive Israel's instructions about how the United States had to vote on the UN resolution.

"On September 11th, President Bush is interrupted while reading a story to school children and told the World Trade Center had been hit--and he went on reading. Now, Olmert calls about a UN resolution when Bush is giving a speech and Bush leaves the stage to take the call. There exists no greater example of a master-servant relationship."

Olmert gloated as he told Israelis how he had shamed US Secretary of State Condi Rice by preventing the American Secretary of State from supporting a resolution that she had helped to craft. Olmert proudly related how he had interrupted President Bush's speech in order to give Bush his marching orders on the UN vote.Israeli politicians have been bragging for decades about the control they exercise over the US government. In his final press conference, President Bush, deluded to the very end, said that the whole world respects America. In fact, when the world looks at America, what it sees is an Israeli colony.

Responding to mounting reports from the Red Cross and human rights organizations of Israel's massive war crimes in Gaza, the United Nations Human Rights Council voted 33-1 on January 12 to condemn Israel for grave offenses against human rights.

On January 13, the London Times reported that Israelis have gathered on a hillside overlooking Gaza to enjoy the slaughter of Palestinians in what the Times calls "the ultimate spectator sport."It is American supplied F-16 fighter jets, helicopter gunships, missiles, and bombs that are destroying the civilian infrastructure of Gaza and murdering the Palestinians who have been packed into the tiny strip of land. What is happening to the Palestinians herded into the Gaza Ghetto is happening because of American money and weapons. It is just as much an attack by the United States as an attack by Israel.

The US government is complicit in the war crimes.Yet in his farewell press conference on January 12, Bush said that the world respects America for its compassion.

The compassion of bombing a UN school for girls?

The compassion of herding 100 Palestinians into one house and then shelling it?

The compassion of bombing hospitals and mosques?

The compassion of depriving 1.5 million Palestinians of food, medicine, and energy?

The compassion of violently overthrowing the democratically elected Hamas government?

The compassion of blowing up the infrastructure of one of the poorest and most deprived people on earth?

The compassion of abstaining from a Security Council vote condemning these actions?

And this is a repeat of what the Israelis and Americans did to Lebanon in 2006, what the Americans did to Iraqis for six years and are continuing to do to Afghans after seven years. And still hope to do to the Iranians and Syrians.

In 2002 I designated George W. Bush "the White House Moron."

If there ever was any doubt about this designation, Bush's final press conference dispelled it. Bush talked about connecting the dots, but Bush has failed to connect any dots for eight solid years. "Our" president was a puppet for a cabal led by Dick Cheney and a handful of Jewish neoconservatives, who took control of the Pentagon, the State Department, the National Security Council, the CIA, and "Homeland Security."

From these power positions, the neocon cabal used lies and deception to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, pointless wars that have cost Americans $3 trillion, while millions of Americans lose their jobs, their pensions, and their access to health care.

"These obviously very difficult economic times," Bush said in his press conference, "started before my presidency."

Bush has plenty of liberal company in failing to connect a $3 trillion dollar war with hard times. The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities blames Bush's tax cut, not the wars, for "the fiscal deterioration."Bush told the White House Press Corps, a useless collection of non-journalists, that the two mistakes of his invasion of Iraq were:

(1) Putting up the "mission accomplished" banner on the aircraft carrier, which, he said, "sent the wrong message," and

(2) the absence of the alleged weapons of mass destruction that he used to justify the invasion.

Although Bush now admits that there were not any such weapons in Iraq, Bush said that the invasion was still the right thing to do. The deaths of 1.25 million Iraqis, the displacement of 4 million Iraqis, and the destruction of a country's infrastructure and economy are merely the collateral damage associated with "bringing freedom and democracy" to the Middle East. Unless George W. Bush is the best actor in human history, he truly believes what he told the White House Press Corps.

What Bush did not explain is how America is respected when its people put a moron in charge for eight years.
